| I know there are rules out there somewhere for lightsaber construction...anyone know where I can find some? |

I don't remember exactly what the rules are, but they are definitely in the Tales of the Jedi Companion.
What I do remember is that you have to gain all the listed parts, and roll your Lightsaber Repair roll. It takes a month to do and is either a Difficult, or Very Difficult roll.
