Episode 25 of the micro series shows his arms split and him use four sabers to do away with the Ithorian and Talz Jedi. Can't wait to see him in the moive, especially after having seen the Unite ad both on TV and at the OS. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Can we use a spoiler warning if we're going to talk about anything in the novel, movie, or official comic? |

I've been trying to stick to stuff folks can view on the OS already. All twenty-five episodes of the micro-series are there in the Clone Wars section. The TV ad Unite is in the EpIII section under the Ads and Trailers to be found in the Release category. These are all things anyone can easily view. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Has anyone dug out some of the computer games to have a look at the two-saber technique?
Just a thought. _________________ 'Good, bad, I'm the guy with a lightsaber...' |

Well, the only game where me may get a glimpse of a 2 saber technique system is Knights of the Old Republic, and that game's system is pretty much wizard's d20, so....... |

What about Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy?
I'm not sure if you are looking for style, maneuvers, mechanics or what... but you can play with two sabers in JK:JA. |

That's the only game I've so far played that allows for the use of two sabers at once. Though notice that I said I've so far played. And more accurately I've played the demo rather than the full game. But it is intresting to see a character try blocking incoming shots with one blade while slicing and dicing someone with the other. Usually ended up getting hit far too often. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

The thing is that Jedi Academy didn't much bother with a system. Having 2 saber only meant you were more kick-a$$. There isn't much of a drawback in that game. While in KOTOR 1 and 2, wielding 2 sabers usually means you get quite a penalty in both blows, unless you have the "two weapons attack" feat thingie..... so again, I don't think it helps much in our D6 discussion... |

Right. Morticutor simply asked for a computer game to "look at the two-saber technique." I wasn't sure if s/he was looking for system mechanics or just what using two lightsabers looked like. |

I was just asking if anyone had used it as source material because I couldn't be bothered digging it out (been busy finishing KOTOR 2)
From what I remember, 2-saber and double-bladed saber styles were very different in Academy - 2-saber was more finicky but the double blade had a shorter range.
From what I remember, you could attack two people at once with two sabers - I know that sounds obvious, but the one I remember was walking into a room and hearing the evil chuckling of Dark Jedi. I hit attack and stuck my sabers out left and right - spitting the two Dark Jedi hiding in the corners of the room! It looked very cool.
OK, so here is a thing - the Jedi Academy site has videos of all the combat moves...

One of the monintors brings up a screen which allows you to observe the combat moves.

Call me old-fashioned, but one of the biggest thrills I got from JA was taking on three dark Jedi at once while I wielded ONE lightsaber. |

Thinking about it, it's really too bad that the Tales of the Jedi Companion covers just Knight of the Old Republic (aka Tales of the Jedi) and The Freedon Nadd Uprising. The very first issue of Dark Lords of the Sith shows Exar Kun use two lightsabers in order to beat Master Vodo. Maybe if they'd gone on to include Dark Lords of the Sith and The Sith War in the Companion we might have gotten some stuff on using not only two lightsabers at once but also on the use of the double-bladed lightsaber in the book. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
