I say let em do it. put a limit on it. Remember though, it's either a mcguffen, (holocron of lost lore) or flavor text, Imperial Knight armor, Consular robes of shining light etc. Keep it away from the mundane as much as possible, and keep it within your Universe. |

As everyone has already stated, the simple answer is no.
If you're a GM, my advice to make something like that for the player is to simply make a rare cloth-type native to one planet only that the natives are rather secretive about making, and have it be resistant to laser weapons (blasters, etc.).
As for making it a "bonus" vs force powers, I personally would say no. There's a few powers in the books that are there specifically for that. |
