My first question is: what is he holding? It looks like a grenade, but it has a strange glowing piece of paper trailing from one end.
What is it? |
It almost looks like the "piece of paper" is actually connected to his chest plate, not the object in his hand. Maybe it's some sort of ribbon/uniform insignia or something.

You can find the info about Iotrans on pages 43-44 of Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens - Enemies and Allies. It's a great book, I would definitely recommend picking up a copy.

I played a Verpine Slicer all through college, by far my favorite character and alien species (yeah, that +2D bonus to tech skills is nice)
He couldn't shoot to save his life, but he could break into any stronghold or computer system.

I don't really know. I like the idea of the Shards as sentient crystals being able to inhabit specially built droid bodies and have a Shard character put together that still has yet to see any use. Also kinda partial to the Mrissi and have two or three different Mrissi characters that are in various stages of development. There's also just something about the Shistavanen I like. Then there's the Twi'leks with their naming practices and the various possibilities I see there. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

think most of the WEG races has beeb overdone...
they are way to powerfull and beats humans totally..
it is a miracle that the human race ever made it as the most common race in SW if u look at all the other extremly powerfull races that can beat ur butt when ur a human! _________________ "This is a councilor ship, We're on a diplomatic mission..*crack' erhhh" -dying captain liften up in the air by darth vaders left arm. |

humans have story effects that a lot of aliens can't touch.
like a mashi horansi can sneak like no other, but infiltrating an imperial facility? can't do it as well as a human, because when the chips fall, a human can knock out an imperial and take his uniform. Or find a uniform and use it to get where he needs to, up close no less. Humans are not scorned by the general public, which can make things easier.
as for humans being the most common species. There were two Human sith in power, and they had a HUGE army, that goes a long way. _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Help me, Rancorpit, you're my only hope. |
Although this is not an official interpretation of an Iotran, I recently drew one right here. A female!
P.S. Fine looking avatar you have there, Loc Taal. |

My fav. would have to be Twi'leks, I just am in love with most of the female twi'leks...don't know why, just am...!
But my fav. from the movies has to be the Besalick from ep2
and I have one in a game I am running, who is a gunrunner and he is there to help the characters get weapons and info. |
