EEEEKKK!!
A grenade that releases an electrical pulse...going off in water....
That might be a bit more dangerous, or the grenade might just short out before really releasing its charge. I guess this could go either way depending on what you want to happen.
I'd say, if you want the characters stunned, have the grenade do extra damage, up to double if you'd like. If you need them to get away, have it short out or reduce the damage significantly. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

That sounds like a good plan. I'd personally run with that one. |

Me, I'll stick with regular explosives underwater. Hydrostatic shock is brutal. _________________ Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |

I thought there were 2 types of stun grenades... One which lets out a concussive blast with some shrapnel, and the other that basically was a radius effect stun blaster bolt... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Heh. My demolitions guy always carried two types of grenades as well. Frag and thermal detonators. What is this stun you speak of? _________________ Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |

If there's shrapnel, it may stun someone... but it'll do a lot more in the meantime too. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

Isn't any grenade that throws shrapnel at you known by its default name: "grenade"? (Which is really frag grenades, IMHO) _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots
