Cal exits the speeder, abandoning his conversation with Toba for the moment. He calls the group's attention to Lewshaak's predicament and whispers to Qassar, "I can try and intervene here, but I'd be a lot more use if I open up to the Force. It's your call, though. How do we proceed?"

To Cal and Qassar: Let me see if I can bluff the guys in the tank into believing that I am his owner. Otherwise our plan may go up in smoke.

With that said Brav strips himself of his armor as quickly as possible. He drops his weapons, and walks out into the street after Lewy.

Once in sight and hearing of the tank he yells: "I am here officers, I am the slave's owner. You have to be carefull with wookies. You don't watch them for one moment and they just walk off!"

And, then more softly to Lewy: Please just play along.

And, then loudly for everyone to hear: Come on you walking carpet. You have work to do, and you will be sorry when we get back to the house!

With that Brav will try to lead Lewy back out of sight of the tank and any other imperial soldiers before going back to the group.

OOC: Will use any number of character points necesary to pull off the bluff.

OOC: Does Brav know of any weak points on the tank? I know that his knowledge is more imperial navy, but I just thought I would ask.

(OOC-2 CPs spent. Brav knows nothing about the tanks. His training barely covered the use of his service weapons since he was recruited for his astrogation abilities.)

Cal breathes a soft sigh of relief, glad that Brav pulled off his bluff. He remained close to Qassar, adding, "OK, for the moment I'm keeping my presence damped down, since he managed to get Luey out of that jam. I believe, however, that you were saying something about exhaust ports... If you want, I can go there with a couple of you. We can maybe bluff our way into appearing like a legitimate repair crew. You want me to jack in and see if I can whip up a work order?" he asked, looking around for the closest terminal.

"No. I don't want to split up like that. We may take two or three exhaust ports, but that's it."

Qassar moves to the port and waits for the others to get over there, so they can try to break in.

The exhaust ports on the rear of the building slope down from street level at a 60 degree angle. The lip of the port rises only 2 meters from street level. Peering over the edge, Dev sees there is a drop of about 30 meters with no visible hand or foot holds.

"OK," Cal replies, pulling out his datapad and typing furiously. "I'll see what I can work up on my pad here, in case we're questioned. If it looks even partly official, they might let it go, especially with so many people to keep an eye on. I'll tell 'em I'm here to keep you safe while you work, in case the crowd gets unruly."

Cal takes each party member's picture on his datapad, assigns them each a fake name, and puts them on a list of individuals authorized to perform some maintenance within the exhaust systems, citing a malfunction in the CO2 scrubbers. Cal figures he'll explain that Lewshaak and a couple of the others are the actual technicians, and that he and the rest are there for security- both to protect the workers and to prevent the Wookiee from trying anything funny.

Cal waits to get Qassar's orders before dealing with the syntherope. Since he's got several spools of the stuff, if Qassar wants to go that route, he'll just take one of the pouches (including the grapple mag) off one of his belts and toss it over. That way he won't be seen spooling the stuff out and looking more suspicious.

Brav places his stortrooper helmet back on. He searches the different com frequencies hoping to find the one the storm troopers and their armored crews are using to communicate.

Once done he will speak to Qassar.

To Qassar: I can go first. Make sure the coast is clear before we head down. Your call, oh great and fearless leader.
