I, personaly see no reason to use a double bladed vibroblade, for this reason. The doubler deals (probably) 8D damage, chances are, if you are useing a melee weapon you have good streangth, so instead of getting one of those, a weapon with many drawbacks, one could simply modify their vibroaxe (normally str+3D, most likely going to 7D which is it's max) to do a total of the same damage or more, with easier difficulty, and that focus thing about it. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

Ya... But a Vibroaxe is so... Passé. So everywhere.
Now, that Double-Bladed Vibroblade... Nothing says intimidation and skill like that at all!!! (OK, a Wookiee that just had his 250-year old Wuuk spilled *MIGHT*, but that's another story.).
It's a weapon of true artists, and posers... But you have to treat those posers with respect, just in case they aren't really posers... |

With the Double Bladed Vibroblade you have to have skill to use it... it has a higher difficulty so you can't be a poser... and why spend time modifying a "not as good" weapon when you could just by a better one... and can you even modify the max damage of the weapon? i didn't think you could. |

Wait a moment.
Is this weapon kind of like a Force Glaive? _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

Is there a pic to go along with the stats and such?
I was just wondering because it sounds similer to a Force Glavie, and perhaps it is what inspired it. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

Nope, it does not look like a force Glavie at all.
It does look kinda neat though. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

No, I you can't. However, vibro blades have settings and I think the max setting is +3D. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Are you sure? I thought that you could modify the max damage, but that you had to do it seperately than modifying thedamage bonus. The stuff about the coolness is deffinately true, but I personally like smaller sleeker weapons, katana-like. So if I wanted to do that, I could turn a regular katana (maybe STR+2D) and make it a vibro-katana (STR+3D), then I could make it put out a lot of energy at once, so that the battery only lasts about five hours, and end up with the same basic thing. Besides, I'd make my vibroaxe look more like an archaic waraxe. That just made me wonder, are there rules for sheilds? _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place
