hmm... Introductions and et cetera...
Ok... 35yr old... playing rpg's for close to 23 years now... I've played (and run) most of the big names, and a few of the small ones.
Enjoy Star Wars D6, Cyberpunk 2020, Earthdawn. Pretty much any game you don't have "levels" in.
Currently in SE Georgia. Statesboro (the only city in the US with that spelling - go ahead. pull up Y! Maps, and type in "Statesboro"... don't even need a state...  )
Working on a long overdue degree.

I've been lurking for a while so I figured I'd register. I played First Edition when it came out, and then the Second. But when Revised and Expanded was released our group would only play White Wolf.

Hey All;
My name is Dave, I've gone by Cool McCool when talking about Star Wars for a long time. d6 was always my favourite game (see the u? Canadian), and I've played a lot of it, although not for a long time now. 
I started off with 1st edition, moved to 2nd, then R&E, but the actual rules we used were a hodge-podge of 1st, 2nd, R&E, and house rules that we didn't think were actual house rules. (I rarely opened up the books while playing, except to look up stats of ships.)
I'm actually in the process of writing a new version of d6 that is looking quite different from the original version, and hence my interest in SW again. (The goal of the new game is total story creation, based on relationships between characters and picking between hurting the people you care about or getting what you want.)
But I love d6 so here I am!

Yeah, but depending upon who you ask, you might actually be charged DOUBLE...
A lot of people aren't so happy with the new trilogy... so it might cost you 10 credits and going three rounds with Fluffy.  |

Hello, hello. Figgered a party lap would be the social thing to do, all the cool new kids are doin it, why not me? Pretty much been one of the hodge-podge house rule types for (only now doing the math and feeling near to death for the first time) about a decade and change, And always love stumbling across these nooks in the web. It seems every time I feel the chill of the saber hilt in my spine and all seems lost, another band of hold outs falls into my lap and revives my hope in the long thought destroyed D6 order.
and is it just me, or is bea arthurs bartender from the holiday special a little conspicous in her absence in game materiel? just me? damn.fine what about the all purpose groomer that can quote all fifteen or so volumes of the imperial penal code while it gives your wookie a brazilian? (any of you who have seen the special know you can't make this crap up)
you know what- that's it!!! I'm making the holiday special sourcebook! brace yourselves D6ers, this could get reeeeally ugly.

I think there's a real unacknowledged demand for lumpy's character sheet though, you just don't see enough overweight 10 year old wookies out there.
and if episode one gets to be canon, so's the holiday special.
