Hi Everyone , searched in the posts of the categorie but I don't think I found somehting relevant.
I would like to create some video with a "person" ( any race ) that would speak and present some info, deliver a message ...etc..
Anyone would have a suggestion ? old school or new solution with AI is welcome ..
Thanks for your insights
( if I missed a post on this, feel free to point it to me of course ) |

First, welcome to the Pit!
Second, what sort of effect are you looking for? Is this just a single scripted video, or are you looking for something interactive?
Is this for a one-off, or are you looking for an ongoing gig?
There are things you can do in aftereffects or Adobe's video editor to make it look like a Star Wars hologram, if you have experience in those and you can do it from home, but it requires money for licenses. _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |

Hi @Cheshire, and thank you !
to be more precise, I would like ot be able a build a "library" of different faces ( a Twi'lek, a humain, a Bothan ..etc. ) that will deliver messages to players.
The "face" will be used iether just once, or several times if it is a major character in the campaign.
To answer to your other questions : no, no interactive except if it is very easy to do.
If you can point me to the resources you mentioned for after effect, I would be gratefull.
From another hand, I found "realillusion - cartoon animator" which allows to animate the face based on a static picture... but I'm not convinced at 100%.
Thanks ! |
