I lied! The next game will be the second mission in The Long Shot campaign, called The Heat of Freedom.

The Pirates of Prexiar opening scroll will follow at some point though... |

We're playing tonight but I'm guessing it'll take 2 weeks to run this one so probably a week tomorrow I'll post the write up. Sorry Raven! I'm delighted that you're looking forward to these though, it makes me want to keep putting the effort in! |

I don't get much gaming these days, so a lot of times I have to game vicariously through others. _________________ RR

I really appreciate it too. Very cool to see, and inspirational to other GMs. _________________ *

Very sorry to hear that Raven - are there maybe any online groups you could join? I would offer a seat at my table but, after we dropped from 7 to 6 PCs, one of my players asked if one of his friends could join but the group voted it down. I think they feel 6 is the limit of what they're want as a group.
@Strauss: I use iMovie which makes it really easy as they have in their titles "Far Far Away" which is the title crawl. All I had to do was to get images of the "A long time ago..." and then of the Star Wars logo. The latter I tried to replicate the disappearing into the distance as best as I could by simply having a Start and Finish position on the logo image. I would prefer it to go further into the distance before vanishing but when I tried to do it any further, it made the logo blurry.
Obviously this project will take me a long time to do because we are playing through the missions and I'm writing the scroll on a week by week basis for each adventure. However, if anyone would like these up on Youtube a lot quicker, I'd be happy to take scroll submissions for the published adventures and post them up for the community.
I had planned on playing the Bissilirus campaign after The Long Shot, but I think once the Long Shot Campaign is over that we'll skip right to Tatooine Manhunt and start working our way through all of the published adventures in the sequence they were released. The Long Shot has involved a lot more work that I initially thought would be required, particularly in finding suitable maps from google. I'll try to share all of these maps on my blog as I go, hopefully other GMs may find it helpful. I don't want to share them here simply for the reason that I believe I'm probably making use of images that I shouldn't be! |
