I've done quite a bit of editing for game companies before, and will also volunteer my services. Though to be honest I can't promise to have super fast turnaround time. I'm pretty busy with lots on my plate, but would otherwise be glad to contribute and help! _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

The thread started in 2005. Think you could manage a faster turnaround than 8 years? _________________ __________________________________

I've been searching here on the RP the link to what has been done for the RotS GG, and forgive me if I asked previously, but where is it? |

I'm trying to remember exactly where it is. Gry Sarth posted it in his Google Drive or dropbox a while back. I'm heading off to bed late or I'd search for it myself. If you search for posts by Gry Sarth, you'll see among the latest that he's posted a link to all his work's source files.
If you can't find it, ping me on Saturday and I'll take a look. I've been running a pretty grueling schedule lately. Sorry I can't have a sooner turnaround. _________________ __________________________________

So, here are all the folders I was able to dig up from my archives. I'm currently sharing them through my dropbox. I hope that works, otherwise feel free to recommend other methods. These folders contain all the text and image files used in the creation of the final PDFs, as well as the InDesign files of the edited books. Note that sometimes tweaks might have been made directly to the InDesign file, so the Word documents might not always be the most up-to-date info.

Revenge of the Sith Sourcebook - Don't get too excited, this is FAR from done, but it does contain a lot of preliminary work. |

I was going to get involved with this a few months ago but had to abort. I'm free now, though, so if anyone can give me specific instructions on what is needed, I can do what I can. My computer is really old though, so I can't run any of the advanced software needed to edit and lay things out.
I can write character histories at about one a day if we need those. _________________ The only words of explanation you need for any concept in the entire Star Wars universe are the words Science Fiction and Space Opera. |

I am in the process of working on Rogue One, and the following project Droids: The Adventures of C-3PO and R2-D2 can be shelved for a little while. I could also help with RotS. We have worked out a pretty good system for working on these sorts of things if you are interested.
1. We create a Google community for the project.
2. We generate a spreadsheet, broken down into sections (alien species, vechiles, starships, etc). This is generated from information from Visual Guide's, appropriate canon material and wookieepedia as needed. Everyone can access this document and mark what they want to do. It is color coded and marked as IN PROGRESS or COMPLETE.
3. Within that community we create a shared directory that people upload their stats to. This too is broken down by category.
4. As items are created we create and post a link to the community for everyone to see and comment on.

I am interested.
Is it something that would be best handled within the browser Google Chrome? Because that's what I use. I also use Documents extensively. _________________ The only words of explanation you need for any concept in the entire Star Wars universe are the words Science Fiction and Space Opera. |
