I am trying to remember the TV show i saw the effect i am thinking of, which is where i am getting this idea from to better explain it.
IIRC of the clip i saw, a monster the group was hunting, just went invisible as it was fleeing them, and it was not just a 'i am not seen by your mind' thing.. It was a proper invisibility (well as much as TV can show)..
Right now, its in the idea stage for a sith type guardian of a temple, that i am thinking of having for a new upcoming module.. Normally in the past, high force skills and/or other powers (offensive) were what most modules seem to went with for their guardians and other things, but i was thinking of going the Opposite route, and having their power be Defensive, hence the popping invisible to avoid detection before attacks, or to assist in getting away.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

So, are you basically just going to hand-wave the physics behind it and port over the parameters of D&D Invisibility? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Not everything needs to be 'physics' compatible, or described to where people can understand HOW XYZ happens.... I am just trying to figure out how to show/represent it in game.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I wasn't complaining. The reason I'm asking is to better wrap my head around how it might be possible.
Is this going to be a natural ability of some kind, or will it be linked to a Force Power? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Neither. More a given ability cause of sith alchemy.. Though closer to natural. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
