I vote No. My original suggestion was a special rule, but the revised attributes look to have the effect I was going for. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Yeah, I don't think they have higher strength but maybe get a +2D bonus when rolling to resist the effects of a disease.
For whatever reason, I see twi'leks as being a little bit more frail than humams. |

Whenever my players make a new character I always use the caveat that I might have to 'nerf' the race. Star Wars vehicles, equipment and alien stats are incredibly out of balance if you take all the source books together...
I let all characters start with the standard attribute/skill dice (not sure why poor Twi'leks lose Att dice) and even house ruled Droids to be more like standard characters.
But I leave the min/max stats alone, they seem to be pretty balanced on the whole.
Funny thing is though, except for a couple of species, when they're all put together, even the more (seemingly) overpowered species don't outshine the others... And most players don't just go or the '6 special ability species' anyways... Maybe I'm lucky to have non munchkin players. _________________ Check out my campaign and others on Obsidian Portal!

Heck, of most of the aliens i have seen taken, verpine seem to be the ONLY non truly humanoid like one.. i have seen several houks, a # of bothans, rodians, wookies (of course), Torgoroians, selonians, Tiranni, defel.. So mostly furry ones.. But there are hundreds others out there i never/rarely see picked.. Such as i have never seen someone take Aing-tii, Arcona, Bovorian, Cha’wen’he, Ergesh.. and the list goes on.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
