|
|
Okay guys one of my guys plans to construct his own power suit. he jumped through my hurdles.
But whats a good movement increase for me to give him? the suits I see that are manufactured are:
12 (Krail 210),
15 (Mist’s Bounty Hunter Armor, Modified Krail 1010 Armor),
16 (Hutt Battle Armor - thats massive amounts over their norm of 0/4!!),
and 20 (Dej Vennor’s Modified Imp Scout Armor),
All those are without repulsorlift assistance or a jet/rocket packs as hes intending.
Thoughts? |

IMo each of those (minus the hutt) is a named suit for a named npc, so whether they followed the rules (3 moves above base) a pc would or not i can't say. What was the starting move he had, and what is he looking to move it up to? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

the krail 210 isnt - mists is a modified krail suit though.
He has his max - 12 atm (human) but he wants to make the suit look gorilla like to allow him to move on all fours basically and then increase the move with servos (also increasing strength)
he hopes a move of up to 22 so he cant match the mounts used by the local military that he is cooperating with atm. I dunno about that without repulsorlift assistance.
where did you get the rules for 3 moves about base from if you dont mind my asking?
EDIT: And just realized the hutt suit is repulsorlift assisted movement |

It was based on the 'improvement/repair' rules in the base book, but it's actually 4 move increase levels you can get..
For vehicles it is improved in groups of 5
For ships its an improvement of their space rating by 1.
Not seeing anything for armor improvement for speeds though, but i would regard that the same way. Base armor speed allowed, with 4 possible 'speed' improvements allowed.
NOW if he has Armor engineering, i could see designing a whole new suit with a faster ground speed. But imo that would be at least moderate to difficult Engineering rolls, if not higher. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
