If you were to base a SW d6 character on Oliver "green arrow" queen, what stats would you say he has?
i'll start.

Knowledge 2d+2. Intimidation 5d+2, Languages 5d+1, Business 5d, Cultures 4d+2, Law enforcement 4d+2, Willpower 5d, Value 4d
Mechanical 2d+2. Ground vehicle operations 4d (S) Bike 6d,

Strength 4d. Brawl 8d, Stamina 7d, Swimming 5d, Climb/jump 6d

Hmm... we've got 19D+2 in attributes. That certainly isn't unprecedented, but it is on the high side. _________________ __________________________________

I didn't watch Arrow during Season 1 and 2. Before this Fall TV season, I binge watched Arrow Season 2 (and really enjoyed it) so I could get up to date on Arrow and The Flash.

18D is just the standard for starting PCs. Arrow is not a PC.
The vast majority of all NPCs would not have 18D in attributes. Most would have less. Main character action heroes would mostly all have more than 18D in attributes.
If anything, I think 19D+2 is probably not enough for Arrow. But then again he wouldn't have a high Technical so maybe.

Good job, garhkal. A few things...
Business is way too high. Being a former billionaire doesn't automatically make you any good at Business. I think Oliver would have above average Business, but several episodes demonstrated he is not very business-saavy, so I think he should have less than 4D anyway.
And where's his Streetwise? Dude's a street vigilante! His Streetwise would be pretty high.
I think his Bow/arrow construction would be somewhat higher. My impression is that he makes all his stuff. _________________ *

This may help. We only got to play a one-off game, but my friend's daughter had fun with the archery rules. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I've been a watcher of Arrow from the start, though I've liked Season Two best so far.
If you're basing your character on the TV show, make sure to include some guyliner amongst his possessions! _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Don't forget Piloting (see final episode of S2)
Aren't Parry specializations based on what you're parrying, not what you're parrying with?
Survival skill needs to be in there and high.
He's a fair hand with a bo staff and seems matched with Sara Lance. He is pretty nearly a match for Slade with combat knives (Pre-Mirikuru). Melee/Parry need to be higher.
Streetwise definitely given his connections to the Russian mafia. _________________ http://swfallingstar.podbean.com

Nah, he's been wearing the mask Barry Allen gave him last season. _________________ *

That depends. Brawl parry, by the 2e revised book states

unarmed and avoiding a brawling or melee attack —
boxing, martial arts |
while melee parry is

lightsabers, knives, clubs, axes, vibroblades.

I took a look in the 2e base book and didn't see any differentiation between the 2 (also no skill in chapter 4 listed specializations)..
So brawl parry spec is what you are defending against, while melee parry spec is what you are using.
And now i present the revampped Oliver Queen with all the suggestions given so far.
Dex 4d. Brawl parry 9d+2, Bow 11d, Dodge 8d, Firearms 6d, Melee 7d+2 (S) bow 9d+1, Melee parry 7d+2 (S) Bow 9d+2, running 6d+2, thrown weapon 7d+2
Knowledge 2d+2. Intimidation 5d+2, Languages 5d+1, Business 4d, Cultures 4d+2, Law enforcement 4d+2, Willpower 5d, Value 4d, survival 6d+2, Streetwise 8d, scholar : chemistry 6d
Mechanical 2d+2. Ground vehicle operations 4d (S) Bike 6d, airplane operations 4d
Perception 3d+2. Bargaining 5d, Con 5d, Investigations 4d, Search 5d+2, Sneak 6d, hide 5d
Strength 4d. Brawl 8d, Stamina 7d, Swimming 5d, Climb/jump 6d
Technical 2d+2. First aid 4d+2, bow construction 6d. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk!

His knockout darts are thrown, and he's obviously very accurate with them as well. So Thrown Weapons.
Didnt he engineer a cure for Vertigo? (the first 2 versions) so possibly chemistry _________________ http://swfallingstar.podbean.com

I don't agree. In both cases, I believe the Parry skills are for what you're using. So Brawling Parry would use open or closed handed techniques to avoid being hit by either (Brawling or Melee).
The specializations one chooses (for Brawling Parry) then spell out what you're good at avoding (Boxing, Martial Arts, etc.), which is kind of strange, considering that Melee Parry's specializations are for the type of weapon used. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Check out how much mascara he's wearing when the mask is off, though. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Edited to add in chemistry and thrown weapons.
