And his Navy experience has answered a lot of the unknowns in the "star destroyer" discussion.
For me, Yeah. 21 years and change in. My experience was a bit 'odd' though. I was in the Air Force (a weather man) but I trained to work with and deploy with the Army Airborne, Ranger & SOF units. Plus I spent a little time as a young Air Man working with the Navy on Guam tracking typhoons. So, though I wore blue, I was more 'non-Air Force' than not.

Started off on 2 Carriers (USS America and the JFK), moved to overseas Comm sites (NCTC Bahrain, NCTAMS Eurcent Det London, JMF St Mawgan), then to Guam on a Submarine Tender, then to Gulfport MS for my final 5 years with the Seabees. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
