Guardian, which of the pdfs have the non-Imperial Law Enforcement, like Sector Rangers and Iotran Bracemen? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Then I guess what happened was that list was on the boards here briefly before it got shot into the black hole of the Internet limbo. |

The Law Enforcement collection is still a WIP. I have most of the baseline stats done for the collection, and everything still needs to be scaled up. If all goes well, I hope to have that collection done by the end of this month. |

If the mythical original GG 13 ever surfaces, it can simply be assigned a new GG # and we make a new cover for it. Or we can make a new GG on scoundels. |
NO! No no no... there was a guy around here YEARS ago who said he was working on a new GG 13, and asked for my help. I sent him some stuff to use in it, and after a little while the guy vanished.
Conclusion: GG 13: Scoundrels is the Bermuda Triangle of SW D6 projects. If you make one, it'll vanish. If you head the project YOU'LL vanish. Just stay away... the project is cursed! |
Hey, I think I was that guy. I have 16 pages of text for a Galaxy Guide 13: Gamblers and Scoundrels on my hard drive.
I don't think I ever received anything (If I was the guy you are talking about, not saying you didn't send anything, as it may have gotten lost) and so I put it on the backburner. Seeing this post caused me to revisit what I had finished, and I actually like what little is there.
I'd be willing to give it another go if we can get a team together to get it done. _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

Certainly. Send me your e-mail. As for the project:
Here is what I can do:
Do write-ups for everything and proofing and editing (I write and edit for an internet magazine called Wusik Magazine that covers software music products).
Here's what I can't do well:
Create NPC names and stat things like NPCs, ships, gear, planets, etc. (but I can write about them).
I can't draw, and I am a big fan of pictures...
Also, I haven't kept up with much of the newer books, fan or wotc, since around 2007, so I may have invented things that already exist. I dunno. _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

Wow! You're back! What was the netherworld like?
Seriously, though, it's good to see you again. I've had some adventure seeds for it floating around somewhere, though I'll have to take a look on my hard drive. If you're serious about re-energizing the project it might be something we can still do.
Also, there are some new venues that might be able to give you a place to put the thing if you don't feel you have or can get people to help you generate the right material. We have some projects like the D6 Magazine, and another mystery publication that keeps thinking about emerging.
Either way, I'm glad to help in any way I can. I'll take a look for the adventure seeds. Maybe I'll even have a few other new ideas to plug into them.
Also, I've kept up with the WOTC books, and I can help you out with conversions if there are any ships you want to plug in, or maybe just reinvent using something existing as inspiration. _________________ __________________________________

Did I ever send you my stuff on it?
I have an outline, notes, and a couple of chapters done.
Anyway, let me know what to do and where to put things and we can get it cracking.
The netherworld is a rather boring place of grad school, work, bills, and so forth... _________________ Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional! |

I'll take a look later today and get back to you on what I have. _________________ __________________________________

Okay, it looks like all I've got was a bunch of adventure seeds. There aren't any fully statted adventures or anything. Most of the seeds revolve around possibilities with a couple of different scenarios. I can send them along if you'd like. _________________ __________________________________
