IIRC in the old first ed source book, there was a clarification that bonuses such as that gained from concentration, aiming, preparing etc, add AFTER your skill gets doubled from the force point.... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I don't have that book. The Gamemaster's Handbook for Second Edition has a section on Rules Questions (pages 124-126) but there is not discussion or either Concentration or Force Points. |

This is a huge discussion we had in a different rule system (2nd ed. AD&D). In Shadowrun something similar came up. One player wanted realism and deadliness, another was afraid his character might get his shoes dirty. My answer was, that I came up with different difficulty zones. Attribute it to gravity, the Force or some other effect depending on the game, but in some places, the roll would be doubled, in others places the whole equation. This applies to both PCs and NPCs. I also limited the use of Force Points in "tainted" places like Korriban. Using one automatically gives you a DSP. _________________ RPGGamer (featuring a big portion of DLOS-stats!)
